Can the garage hold any more horns?

Guess I'm gonna find out....

What would be the smallest room I would need to really get the most out of these?

We are getting ready to build, mancave basement included, and at some point I'm gonna need to ask for opinions on how to get the most out of all of my Altec gear, which is really starting to accumulate...

the mower is deffinetely garage equipment, the horns need to go in the living room..
the big white horns altecs? vir? cutoff frequency? i can see those sitting right here in the living room..yep

the white ones are Altec, too. I don't have my catalog handy, but they are Altec. OOPS, catalog was closer than I thought. Could be VIR or VIT. They are in the 1990 catalog. Maybe other catalogs, as well. 400hz-16khz with 299-8a

Hey analog,

I know where there are 6 more of those MR horns in your neck of the woods with drivers and bass cabs.....

If those cabs have what I think ,, that whole set is price right too.....I think he would work on the price

Thought about riding up there to grab them , but I all ready have 4 loaded 817's cabs and 4 MR horns with drivers not in use....

I talked to guy with the above speakers, but he hasn't told what the 15's are....

Here are the white horns....

VIT's. Came with 299's and 2 of the 816VI's containing 515 16G HP's.

As for the tweeters on top of the MR94B's, they are Frazier horn tweeters, and so far they blend nicely with the different horn mid's I've tried.

As for that deal, that's actually where the 94's came from. All of his horns are now gone. He has 4 of the 291's left, and the bass bins, which contain an unknown woofer.

Can anyone ID the woofer using the code on the back of the magnet?

The other pix of the woofers are here....EV's maybe?

Funny thing, the seller is the same guy I bought my M19's from quite awhile ago....

Wow! VIT's. Those are made for wide, constant coverage. Don't know how they'd work up close.
GM probably knows. Hope he sees this.

Well, if nothing else, one would prolly work pretty nicely as a center channel speaker. I'm getting ready to build a new house with a basement maybe 60' by 35'. The question will become how do I make the most of the components I have. Of course, by then, the garage may be even fuller if that's possible....

Once the plan is finalized, I'll start a design the optimal system given the space footprint thread.

If you get anymore stuff you will need to start renting out a storage unit....

Those woofers do look like some EV's.......

Maybe try posting on the woofer info on other forums and see what people find out.

Man that will be one nice sized home theater!!! 60'x35', wow!.....what are you gonna use for surrounds?
